I spent some time looking through Mecum there’s a good mix of cars on there. I came across old muscle cars, newer models, and a few random oddballs too. One weird detail I remember is a listing where the car had bright red interior that looked almost too shiny, and for some reason that stuck with me. Some listings could’ve used a little more info, but overall it was easy to browse and kind of fun seeing all the different options

I went in expecting some reserves to be a little too high, but most of them actually felt fair. Nothing seemed wildly overpriced, and it made bidding feel like it was actually worth my time.

They sided against me so quickly that it felt literally unfair. I didn’t feel like my side was really looked at or taken seriously.

I’m still waiting for my delivery, which is frustrating. I get that delays happen, but at this point it feels like it’s just floating around somewhere with no real update. Not exactly the experience I was hoping for, to be honest

I bought a car through Mecum, and overall, the condition was pretty much what they showed online. The photos and notes matched up well, for the most part, though there were a couple of small scratches I hadn’t really noticed before. It wasn’t a perfect experience, but I also didn’t feel misled. I just wish they had included a little more detail, especially on the minor stuff. Overall, I’d say it was fair, and accurate

I’ve been around cars for a while, and Mecum is one of those names you hear enough to know they’ve earned some trust. The site feels legit, i’d feel comfortable looking at auctions there. When you’re dealing with big purchases like cars, it matters that a company seems fair, transparent, and like they’re trying to do things the right way.

I went to look at a car before placing a bid, the access felt limited. I couldn’t really check it over the way I would’ve liked, and the staff seemed a bit too busy to help much. I get that they probably had a lot going on, though, so I don’t want to be too harsh. The site itself is fine overall, but for the amount of money involved, I was hoping for a better chance to inspect the car properly.

I noticed my card got charged twice and right away I figured it would be an easy fix, but support barely helped. I assumed they’d just look it up and sort it out quickly, but that didn’t really happen. Frustrating experience overall

I went to a Mecum auction and had a decent time overall. The venue was fine, easy enough to figure out, and the cars were laid out in a way that made it simple to wander around and see this and that. Some spots did get crowded quickly though, so it felt a little tight here and there.
The biggest thing for me was the seating. It was okay at first, but after being there a while, it got uncomfortable. Food and drink lines were also longer than I expected, and the bathrooms were just kind of average. Still had fun, but for an all-day thing like that, a little more comfort would make a big difference

I used Mecum for online bidding and overall it did the job. Signing in and keeping an eye on lots was easy, and I liked that updates came through without me having to keep refreshing the page. The bidding part did feel a little clunky at times though, especially on my phone. Some pages were slow to load, which made me a bit nervous during live bids. It’s not bad at all, just feels like it could use a little cleanup

I went on Mecum expecting to browse some truly rare, must-see cars, but it felt hit or miss. I thought I’d be excited scrolling through, but a lot of it didn’t really grab me the way I expected.

Some listings did look nice, but plenty of them didn’t feel as special as the hype made them sound. For the prices being shown, I kept wondering if I’d be more likely to overpay than actually land something unique, which made me a lot more cautious.

I can see how serious collectors might still enjoy it, but for me it was kind of disappointing. If I’m going to spend time looking at high-end or rare cars, I want to feel confident I’m not missing something important or getting caught up in inflated pricing

I signed up to bid and it was actually painless. The forms were straightforward, everything made sense, and my approval came through faster than I expected. No weird issues on my end.

I consigned my old Camaro with Mecum, and while it sold for a little less than I was hoping, the price was still fair. The staff kept me updated throughout the process, the fees were explained clearly, and my payout came right when they said it would. Overall, it was a straightforward and useful service, and I’d use Mecum again.

Caught the Mecum auction livestream for a couple hours. Overall, solid, clear video, easy audio. Froze once or twice and needed a refresh, but no big deal. Nice way to keep up with the cars without being there

I’ve got a high standard when it comes to buying a car at this level, so I was expecting the Mecum staff to know the vehicle a bit better. A couple of the answers I got were vague, and one person had to go check with someone else on info that felt like it should’ve been basic.
The auction itself ran fine, so this wasn’t a total letdown. But when you’re talking about spending that kind of money, I expect more confidence and detail from the people on site. In the end, it felt like I was doing most of the homework myself...

I'm still waiting on the papers to come through, i haven't really gotten any clear updates. It’s been a bit frustrating not knowing what’s going on.

I used this sometime around late March, or maybe it was early April, and overall the car photos were okay. Most of them gave me a decent idea of the vehicle, but a few looked too dark or didn’t show the angles I was hoping to see. The videos were helpful too, but the quality was kind of hit or miss. It’s not bad at all, I just wish everything was a bit clearer and more consistent.

The site itself worked fine, no real issues there. It’s just the fees weren’t super clear to me at first. Like, I was moving through the process and only later did it become more obvious what I was actually being charged. Not a huge disaster or anything, just kinda annoying
